Tragedy Near Strait of Hormuz: Young Indian Seafarer Killed in Missile Strike
A devastating missile attack on the bulk carrier MV Cape Dao has claimed the life of a 23-year-old Indian seafarer near the eastern coast of Oman. The Fatal Strikes
The attack involved two distinct missile strikes on the vessel. One hit the accommodation area on the C-deck, while the second struck near the engine room. Suraj Yadav, a wiper on board, tragically succumbed to a severe head injury sustained during the assault.
In a heartbreaking detail, Yadav had been in contact with his family just hours before the tragedy. He had spoken to his mother, Pushpa Devi, and his younger brothers via video call at approximately 11 am IST on Wednesday, unaware of the imminent danger.
