Tragedy in Umm Al Quwain: Kerala Expat Found Dead in Parked Car
A 32-year-old expatriate from Kerala was tragically discovered deceased inside his parked vehicle in Umm Al Quwain on 19 September 2026. The victim, identified as T.V. Firoz, a resident of Kasaragod, had been missing for over 24 hours after failing to return from his routine activities.
The Timeline of a Missing Expat
T.V. Firoz, who managed a supermarket alongside his brothers Ashraf and Jainuddin, was last seen leaving his residence to attend Juma prayers at approximately 11:00 am on 18 September. Following a period of unanswered phone calls, growing concern led acquaintances to search for him.
The search concluded at around 9:00 pm on 19 September, when his vehicle was located in a vacant plot situated behind his workplace. Emergency teams were required to break the vehicle's window to extract him, but Firoz was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Cause of Death and Official Investigations
While initial reports suggest a heart attack may have been the cause of death, formal confirmation is still pending. UAE authorities are currently awaiting the results of a formal post-mortem examination to establish the exact circumstances.
