The Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) has announced the formation of a new committee dedicated to monitoring and preventing unauthorized and random residential housing violations across the emirate. This move is part of a broader effort to ensure all living spaces meet legal and safety requirements.

The decision was formalized during an SEC meeting held on September 29, 2026, at the Sharjah Ruler's Office. The meeting was chaired by the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, who also serves as the chairman of the council.

Unified Inspections and Multi-Agency Cooperation
