Saudi Arabia Offers Free Adobe Firefly And Express To Indian Expats

Riyadh, September 4, 2026: Adobe, in an expanded partnership with the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the PIF-backed AI company HUMAIN, has announced a 12-month free access program for Adobe Firefly Standard and Adobe Express Premium. This initiative, highlighted during the conclusion of the LEAP 2026 conference, is intended for eligible citizens and residents within the Kingdom, including the approximately 2.748 million Indian nationals residing in Saudi Arabia, as per Government of India data current to March 2026. The program is designed to reach over 27 million eligible individuals.

Program Details And Benefits

Eligible users, aged 13 and older, will receive 2,000 generative AI credits per month upon activation. These credits support image generation, editing, and other generative features, while Adobe Express Premium enables the creation of social media content, presentations, promotional materials, and digital assets. The 12-month validity period begins on the specific date the user activates the offer, with the program aiming for full rollout by the end of 2026. Interested residents can currently register their interest on the official National Access Programme page.

Subscription Options And Future Plans

Existing Adobe subscribers may also participate. Users can choose to maintain their current paid plans alongside the free offer or cancel their existing subscriptions, subject to individual billing terms and cancellation policies. Adobe and HUMAIN are also collaborating on a specialized AI image model tuned for Saudi culture and Arabic-language prompts, which is expected to launch in the future.

Impact On Professionals And Guidelines

This benefit is particularly relevant for Indian freelancers, small-business owners, and professionals in sectors such as hospitality, retail, construction, and education. Adobe advises that businesses using AI-generated content must remain mindful of internal company policies, copyright regulations, and the protection of confidential or commercial data when utilizing generative AI tools.
