For expatriate residents, including Indian citizens, specific eligibility criteria apply:
applicants must be at least 45 years old, have maintained at least 15 years of continuous residency in Qatar, and must not have performed Hajj previously. Eligible residents are permitted to include only one companion in their application. In contrast, Qatari citizens must be at least 18 years old and may include up to three companions.
A mandatory medical fitness certificate, aligned with standards set by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, is now a required step.
Applicants must undergo medical examinations at authorized Qatar health centers, with results linked electronically to the registration system. The ministry advises against using unofficial agents or third-party websites to prevent fraud. Submission of an application does not guarantee a seat. Following the closure of the registration window, electronic screening will be conducted, with acceptance notifications expected to be sent via SMS starting in late October. Applicants are advised to provide an active mobile number.
Upon selection, applicants must complete a contracting process with an approved Hajj campaign, which requires
