These changes, which are set to take effect on October 4, 2026, aim to streamline the verification process for residency applications. The Three Mandatory Documents
To successfully apply for a family residence visa, applicants are now required to provide the following specific paperwork:
- Six-Month Bank Statement: A statement from an accredited bank within Qatar, clearly demonstrating consistent salary credits over the last half-year.
- Notarized Employment Contract: A contract that has been officially registered with the Ministry of Labour. Crucially, the profession listed on this contract must align perfectly with the profession stated on the individual's Qatar ID (QID).
- Educational Certificate: A copy of an educational certificate that supports the applicant's professional designation.
Authorities have emphasized that these documents are non-negotiable. Furthermore, all educational certificates must undergo
