Kuwait Gives 8700 Palestinians 3 Months To Update Residency
Kuwait has started a new campaign for residency regularisation. This targets about 8,700 Palestinian residents who have temporary travel documents.

Where To Go For New Passports
People need to visit the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Mishref. The embassy is at Block 7A, Building 48 in the diplomatic area. After getting the new passport, residents must go to the General Department of Residency Affairs. They will transfer their existing iqama from the old travel document to the new passport to stay legal.
Embassy Help And Faster Printing
Palestinian Ambassador to Kuwait Rami Tahboub said the embassy is working closely with Kuwaiti authorities. The embassy asked the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah to speed up passport printing. They plan to open a printing facility inside the Kuwait embassy soon. This will make processing take only one week.
Problems If You Do Not Comply
Failure to follow this rule can cause big problems. It can affect residency renewals and international travel. It can also hurt access to bank accounts, child school enrollment, and jobs. Residents must check the Sahel app for updates. They need to bring their current travel document, Civil ID, and passport photos.
