Kerala Technician Wins Dh655,341 After Ajman Crash

A 38-year-old lift technician from Kerala has received a compensation payout of Dh655,341 following a catastrophic vehicle accident in Ajman that resulted in the loss of his leg.
Sudheer, who had spent 15 years working in the Gulf, was traveling in a company vehicle to a worksite when the accident occurred in May 2025. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, striking an elevated pedestrian walkway and an electric pole.
Devastating Injuries and Medical Care
The impact of the crash was severe, leading to the amputation of Sudheer's left leg below the knee. He also sustained injuries to his right leg, for which he continues to undergo medical treatment. Following the incident, he was rushed to the NMC Royal Hospital in Jebel Ali for emergency care.
The accident has fundamentally changed his life, ending his career as a technician and leaving him with permanent physical disabilities.
