The Indian Embassy in Riyadh has announced that August 29, 2026, is the final day for Indian nationals residing in Saudi Arabia to apply for the position of Interpreter/Translator.

  • The role offers an initial monthly salary of SR7,200, with a pay scale progression ranging from SR7,200 to SR17,640.

Salary And Eligibility Details

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Arabic from a recognized university, with English studied as a mandatory subject at the Bachelor's level or higher. Proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic and English, along with computer skills, is required. Preferred candidates will have previous experience as an English-Arabic translator or interpreter, supported by relevant certificates. The upper age limit is set at 45 years as of August 1, 2026. Educational certificates must be attested by the concerned State Government, the Ministry of Education in New Delhi, and the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi.

Application Process And Required Documents

Applications must be submitted via email to [email protected] with the subject line Application for the post of Interpreter/Translator. Required documents include a detailed CV, copies of the passport's first and last pages, a copy of the Iqama card or Absher screenshot, Class 10 and 12 certificates, and the Bachelor's degree. The selection process will involve shortlisting based on documentation, followed by a written examination consisting of objective and subjective questions. Successful candidates will then undergo a typing test and a final interview conducted by a Selection Committee. Although today, August 29, 2026, is a Saturday, the Embassy confirmed that email applications remain valid. Incomplete or incorrect applications will be subject to rejection.
