On September 18, the Embassy of India in Bahrain hosted a Viksit Bharat Run, drawing approximately 200 participants from the Indian expatriate community. The event was held as part of the Seva Pakhwada initiative and involved various community groups, including Samskruthi Bahrain.

Community Participation and Pledges

During the proceedings, participants recited pledges for both Viksit Bharat and Aatmanirbhar Bharat, aligning themselves with the Indian government's 2047 development vision. There are currently more than 3 lakh Indian expatriates residing in Bahrain, representing one of the largest foreign groups in the Kingdom.

The initiative was intended to maintain morale and political connectivity among the diaspora amidst regional tensions in the Gulf.
