Fahad Suri, the Indian Consul General in Jeddah, held high-level discussions with Fareed bin Saad Al-Shehri, the Director General of the Saudi Foreign Ministry’s Makkah region branch. The meeting focused on how to best support the 2.5 million Indian nationals currently residing in Saudi Arabia during times of instability.
A key outcome of these talks is the plan to transition consular operations toward a wartime footing. This strategic shift aims to provide more efficient services, including:
