Etihad Rail Launches Dubai-Abu Dhabi Service with AED 39 Fares

The highly anticipated Etihad Rail passenger service will officially begin operating between Dubai and Abu Dhabi on September 30, 2026. This new rail link promises to transform regional travel, offering a fast and affordable alternative to road commuting.

New Routes and Travel Times

The inaugural journey is set to depart from the new Al Yalayis Station, located in Jumeirah Golf Estates, at 6:14 am. The trip is expected to reach the Mohammed Bin Zayed City station in Abu Dhabi in approximately 1 hour and 4 minutes.

For the launch day, five direct daily services have been scheduled to accommodate commuters:
