The policy change applies to employer accreditation and job-order processing, rehire processing, direct-hire processing, and Tadbeer hiring.
Cash payments remain an accepted method alongside new digital payment options to improve service convenience.
The official fee for contract verification remains set at
AED 40, though card users pay standard bank or point-of-sale transaction charges and applicable VAT. Labor Attaché Atty. John Rio Bautista stated that the implementation serves as a direct response to feedback from Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), employers, and principals regarding the necessity for more convenient payment alternatives to mitigate long wait times at the Philippine Consulate-based facility. The office maintains operating hours from Monday to Thursday, 07:30 a.m. to 03:30 p.m., with an entry cut-off at 03:00 p.m. On Fridays, the office operates from 07:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, with an entry cut-off at 11:00 a.m. For further inquiries, the contract verification hotline is +971 50 652 6626, and the official website is https://mwodubai.org.
