The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially set Saturday, September 26, 2026, as the final deadline for submitting the List of Candidates (LOC) for the upcoming Class 12 special examinations. The special examination session follows the cancellation of several board papers during the Iran-Gulf conflict that occurred between March and April 2026. In compliance with a Supreme Court order, the CBSE is facilitating these re-examinations to ensure students are not unfairly disadvantaged.
The examinations will be conducted exclusively within seven countries at designated centers: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Iran.

The board is offering a wide range of subjects to ensure comprehensive coverage for the affected students. The 40 available subjects are divided into two categories:
- 20 academic-based papers
- 20 skill-based papers
Students should note that the marks obtained in these special examinations will replace their previous assessment-based marks, offering a fresh start for their final academic records.

- Regular Students: Those whose LOC was submitted for the 2026 main exams and whose results were originally determined through the special assessment scheme.

Important: Students who were absent during the original March examinations are ineligible to apply for this special examination round.

To ensure a successful registration, students must have the following information ready, exactly as it appears on their original admit card:

- The mother's name
