This initiative follows a Supreme Court of India ruling (CWP-815 of 2026) and aims to support students whose academic progress was disrupted by regional conflicts that led to the cancellation of certain examination papers earlier in 2026.
Crucial Registration Dates and Costs
Students intending to sit for these special re-examinations must adhere to a strict timeline. The registration window is scheduled to open on September 22, 2026, and will close on September 26, 2026. In a significant move to assist affected families, there will be no registration fee charged for these exams.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
The special examination is specifically designed for a particular group of candidates. To participate, students must meet the following requirements:
- Candidates must be regular or private students who previously submitted their List of Candidates (LOC) or forms for the 2026 Main Examination.
- Candidates must have already received their results under the special assessment scheme.
