Saudi carrier flynas has announced the launch of direct flights connecting various destinations in Saudi Arabia with the UAE, starting from September 1, 2024. This expansion aligns with Saudi Arabia’s National Civil Aviation Strategy and aims to enhance connectivity, particularly for those traveling to the Two Holy Mosques.
New Flynas Routes:
- Riyadh to Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC)
- Jeddah to Abu Dhabi and Sharjah
- Madinah to Abu Dhabi and Sharjah

- Madinah from Abu Dhabi and Sharjah: Starting at Dh249
- Riyadh from DWC: Starting at Dh239
- Jeddah: Starting at Dh365
Strategic Importance:
Flynas’ expansion supports Saudi Arabia’s Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP), which aims to facilitate access to the Two Holy Mosques. The carrier’s entry into the UAE market strengthens ties between the two nations, adding to the robust connectivity already offered by other airlines such as Air Arabia, Flydubai, Saudia, Etihad Airways, and Emirates Airlines.
